Missy has been writing since she was twelve and, though the theme and voice of the stories she writes may vary, romance has always been the most important aspect for her. She grew up in Northeast Ohio watching John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies with her dad and reading her mom’s romance novels as soon as she turned her back long enough for Missy to grab one. Also among her favorite men is Captain James T. Kirk, her first bad-boy and the man who taught her how to face danger and walk away grinning. So long as there are men being brave and falling love, she’ll write about them. Connect with her at MissyWelsh.com.
- In 2002, Missy graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, a program she highly recommends.

Praise for Missy Welsh:
- “Missy Welsh has a knack for creating stories that will make you laugh, cry and wish to god you were in the middle of the manwich she’s created. She weaves tales that make your day and have you needing more of her wonderfully written stories.” — Selena Illyria
Praise for My Summer of Wes:
- “An unexpectedly heartwarming, delightful, funny story which will grab you by the throat and never let go, as you fall for Mal and Wes… This debut novel by Missy Welsh was an absolute delight and you will want to hug the protagonists, Mal and Wes, when you finish it… What I loved and didn’t expect was the humorous banter between Wes and Mal, especially during sex, and at times I laughed out loud because the dialogue was sparkling… Missy Welsh sure can write and her characters came alive on the page.” — Wave, Reviews by Jessewave, Rated 4.5/5
- “[In] My Summer of Wes, Ms. Welsh has given us not only a story rich in friendship and romance as well as some sweet & sexy lovin’ but also a sense of hope. For me, this book typifies all that is wonderful in romance stories and I can’t offer any higher praise than that. My thanks to the author for a heartwarming and extremely satisfying story…and my hopes for many more to come.” — Kathy, Dark Divas Reviews, Rated 5 Delightful Divas

- “Oh my Gosh! That was just so Romantic! It was sweet and endearing and lovable to read about them, confident, yet still a bit unsure… and the amazing sex… and the witty remarks and funny replies… and reading about their tenth anniversary and billion blue tiles! It was everything I was hoping for and expecting from the image. Missy, you did a fantastic job! Adam Grindall and Lincoln Stone were just soo cute together! Thank you for such a sweet and lovable story! ♥” –Trix (who requested the story)
- “If you’re looking for an adventure with two polar opposites–one genetically engineered and the other human - but made for each other, you should pick up KLT23. This book packed a lot of hot sex and fun into 26 pages. Recommended.” — Wave, Reviews by Jessewave, Rated 4/5
- “I spent quite a lot of time giggling to myself whilst reading this story. Not that it’s overtly funny, just that the author has such a dry sense of humour and fun which shows in the writing, I couldn’t help but be amused by the events on the pages. [...] It’s perfect for over lunch or before bed and I’d recommend it to all those who like their romance with a touch of humour and are looking for something a little different in a futuristic setting and an engaging hero.” — Jenre, Brief Encounters, Rated B
- “I have never been on a porn set, but I could picture these scenes and how they unfolded. I felt like the author did a great job of balancing the light theme of the story without being silly. There’s lots of sex, and it was very hot. The sex scenes, although plentiful, fit with the flow and pacing of the story.” — Rho, The Romance Reviews, Rated 4/5
- “Ms. Welsh’s writing style kept me right in my seat until the last page, and yeah, I’m still thinking about the characters. I felt like I was right there with them, going through the story and experiencing the burgeoning desires. There were times I giggled and times I wanted to smack a character upside the head. But in all honesty, my feeling emotionally involved in the story is a mark of a great tale.” — Tiger Lily, Whipped Cream Erotic Romance Reviews, Rated 4
- “This was such a sweet story, and a lovely mix of poignant and fun. On one hand there is no missing that Brian has been in a bad place for a while. [...] On the other hand, Brian has a wonderfully fun inner voice and there is a lot of humor and liveliness to the narration. [...] Although this is technically a holiday story, it is easily something you could enjoy the rest of the year. I would definitely recommend Every Time a Bell Rings.” – Joyfully Jay Reviews, Rated 4.75
- “Being a short Christmas story this wasn’t a complex plot but the writing was quite good and the dialogue and prose were funny. The details of Brian’s past helped to make him seem real, especially the bit about his mother’s illness before she passed and how he cared for her during the final months. [...] Oreo the cat was quite the little matchmaker and a star in her own right and Mike, Brian’s best friend, was such a twink I wondered how his family never suspected that he was gay – Brian always had to remind him to ‘butch it up’ whenever he was too effeminate. [...] [Overall, this story] ended up quite funny and heartwarming.” — Wave, Reviews by Jessewave, Rated 4
