RRW Romance Reader SurveyThe Research & Retail Committee of the Rainbow Romance Writers chapter of RWA would like to improve the shelving and marketing of LGBTQ romances in both physical and online bookstores. As you might have guessed from the post title, they’ve come up with a survey for romance readers to collect reading and buying data. This Romance Reader Survey is for readers of ALL kinds of romances, not just those that come under the rainbow. Though the survey is anonymous, there’s an option for you to enter your email address at the end for chance to win a $25 Amazon gift code!

(BTW, authors are readers too, so don’t think you authors can’t participate because you so can!)

Yours Forever by Missy WelshTrace Edward Zaber’s done it again! :)

Here’s the lovely cover he created for Yours Forever, my little foray into werewolves. (That’s Danny on the left and Rick on the right!)

Rick knows his lover Danny has a secret and has been lying to Rick in order to keep it. He’s pretty sure this secret has something to do with seeing another man once a month for three days at a time. Determined to show his boyfriend that he can be everything Danny needs, Rick hatches a plan that ends up revealing way more than he could’ve imagined.

I’m Over There!

I am such a numb-nut sometimes. Some really wonderful people offered to help me with a bit of advertising, and I totally forget to say anything about it here. I tweeted and facebooked one of them, got distracted by… Well, it must’ve been something! And then I never made it in here to say a word until now.

Numb. Nut.

I’ll Be In Your Bag

That’s meant some marketing-related purchases and branding considerations I never really thought about having to do as an author. Thankfully, there are some very intelligent and experienced people out there who have provided advice to me. (Thank you!)

Should you attend this event and find yourself on the riverboat for the author signing, you’ll get your choice of a postcard featuring never-before-seen artwork for My Summer of Wes, Take the Shot, or KLT23. One will make you say, “Aw, they’re so cute.” Another might make you gasp before you giggle. And the last one… Well, bring a cold drink because you might need it.

If you’re one of 4 people who will have breakfast with me during the Dine with an Author part of the event, I’ll have a special gift for you. It’s even something you can display right there in plain sight without having to explain it to your mother-in-law!

And then today, I got the last piece of swag that every attendee will get in their registration bags: Lipbalm! That’s them up there. All natural, neutral flavor, it’s a bit of pocket-sized happiness from me to you.
